Pattern for Cable beanie / Flette Luen - English version

The beanie is worked with 2 threads on a circular needle. In this pattern I have used 1 thread ITO SHIMO and 1 thread ITO SENSAI. The cables are worked with a cable needle. This cable knit is same as in FletteVesten, FletteVest2 and FletteVest 3.0 

Yarn; 50 g ITO SHIMO (80% lamb wool and 20% silk, 266 m/ 50 g) and ITO Sensai (60% kid mohair and 40% silk, 240 m/ 20 g) 

ITO SHIMO yarn is Weight Yarn Light Fingering and ITO Sensai is Yarn Weight Lace

Choose yarn that works with the gauge in this pattern. 

Recommended needles; 3,5 mm circular needle (40 cm or long circular needle for Magic Loop method)

Gauge;
35 stitches x 38 rounds according the cable knit on needle 3,5 mm – approx. 10 cm x 10 cm. The needle size is just a recommendation. Choose the needle size to obtain the correct gauge. 

Size; Cable beanie / Flette Luen is designed for teens and adults in one size. The beanie’s height is approx. 22- 23 cm and the circumference is approx. 48 – 50 cm.
