Pattern Snoning Varmere / Cable Mittens - English version

The mittens are worked on double pointed needles or with the Magic Loop method. In this pattern they are worked with 2 threads, 1 thread SOLBERG SPINDERI Vilja and 1 thread Alva. The cables are worked with a cable needle. If you want to lengthen the mittens, my recommendation is to weigh the yarn, so that you have enough yarn for 2 longer mittens.

Yarn; 50 g Vilja (100% wool, 175 m/ 50 g) and 25 g Alva (70% kid mohair and 30% silk, 200 m/ 50 g) Vilja Fingering Yarn Weight and Alva Lace Yarn Weight

Recommended needles; 4 mm dpns or long circular needle for Magic Loop method

Gauge; 18 stitches x 16 rows in cable pattern according chart A1 on needle 4 mm – approx. 5 cm x 5 cm. The needle size is just a recommendation. Choose the needle size to obtain the correct gauge. Work a gauge swatch and measure from 1^st stitch.                                                                    

Snoning Varmere are designed as one size. The length measures approx. 23 cm and the circumference approx. 16 – 20 cm (due to the cable pattern, the cuffs are extremely elastic)
