Pattern for KARNA Jakken / KARNA jacket 

This is a jacket you for sure will love. I wanted a slightly short jacket, that is cozy and long, wide sleeves.

KARNA jacket is worked flat top down on a circular needle. In this pattern the complete jacket is worked with 3 threads, 1 thread ISAGER Alpaca, 1 thread ISAGER Highland Wool and 1 thread ITO Sensai. As the jacket is worked top down, you can easily try on the jacket while knitting, to find your perfect length. The sleeves have a wide fit to the ribbed cuffs. At the end, you will work front bands in rib along the front edges.

Sizes and measurements:  

Sizes: SMALL - MEDIUM - LARGE - X LARGE 

Jackets chest circumference approx.: 118 cm - 124 cm - 130 cm - 140 cm 

Lenght approx.: 50 cm - 53 cm - 56 cm - 59 cm 

Sleeves approx.: 50 cm - 50 cm - 52 cm - 52 cm 

Recommended needles: 6 mm circular needle (40 and 80 cm) and 5 mm dpns or Magic Loop (both needle sizes)           

Gauge: 16 stitches x 21 rows in stockinette stitch on needle 6 mm = approx. 10 cm x 10 cm.
The needle size is just a reference, use the size to obtain the correct gauge.

Yarn:  ISAGER Alpaca 1 (100% alpaca, 400 m/ 50 g. Yarn Weight Lace) and ISAGER Highland Wool (100% wool, 275 m/ 50 g. Yarn Weight Light Fingering) and ITO Sensai (60% kid mohair and 40% silk, 240 m/ 20 g. Yarn Weight Lace)

Size S: 150 g Alpaca 1(100 g col. ECO 3S, 50 g col. 3), 250 g Highland Wool (150 g sky, 50 g rose, 50 g curry), 80 g ITO Sensai (40 g snow grey, 20 g mustard, 20 g cream)

Size M: 200 g Alpaca 1 (150 g col. ECO 3S, 50 g col. 3), 250 g Highland Wool (150 g sky, 50 g rose, 50 g curry), 120 g ITO Sensai (60 g snow grey, 20 g mustard, 40 g cream)

Size L: 200 g Alpaca 1 (150 g col. ECO 3S, 50 col. 3), 250 g Highland Wool (150 g sky, 50 g rose, 50 g curry, 140 g ITO Sensai (60 g snow grey, 40 g mustard, 40 g cream)

Size XL: 200 g Alpaca 1, (150 g col. ECO 3S, 50 g col. 3), 350 g Highland Wool (150 g sky, 50 g rose, 100 g curry), 160 g ITO Sensai (60 g snow grey, 40 g mustard, 60 g cream)
