Pattern for LuzziSocks 2.0 - English version

LuzziSocks are fun to knit and super nice to wear. The yarn I have used in the pattern is Fjord sock yarn 2, from HILLESVÅG ULLVAREFABRIKK. It is Yarn Weight DK. The yarn is spun from 80% Norwegian wool and 20% nylon. It is thin and fine yarn that gives you thin, light and warm socks. LuzziSocks 2.0 are intended as ankle socks. There is one main color (100 grams) and three pattern colors (50 grams of each color).

The needle size is just a recommendation. You will knit in a helping-thread for the heel stitches. The heel is worked at the end or once you are about halfway through the sock’s foot, so that it is easier to measure where to begin with the toe decreases. The LuzziSocks are designed as ankle socks, but you can easily adjust the length by knitting in the helping-thread later.

Sizes: approx. 10 cm width and approx. 24 cm long (shoe size 36/37) – approx. 11 cm width and approx. 26 cm long (shoe size 38/39) - approx. 12 cm width and approx. 28 cm long (shoe size 40)

Recommended needles: 3,5 mm dpns or long circular needle for Magic Loop method

Gauge: 23 stitches x 32 rows = approx. 10 x 10 cm in Luzzi Pattern/ chart A 1 on needle 3,5 mm (the needle size is just a reference)

Yarn: FJORD 80 % Norwegian wool, 20 % nylon - 125 m/ 50 g

250 g (100 g/ colour; light blue (main colour), rose (contrast colour 1), light grey (contrast colour 2) and brown (contrast colour 3). For all sizes
